Mrs G Clyde Compton Dies After Long Illness at 38
Mrs G Clyde Compton died at 5 am Sunday at her Barstow ranch after a six year battle with pulmonary tuberculosis. She was 38. The funeral, under White & Platt, proceeded at Barstow Union church with Rev. Josselyn and Rev. Shepard. pallbearers included Roy D. Compton and Clyde Brewer. Burial followed in Barstow in a steel vault.

Milking Ewes Promises New Cheese Industry Rush

One hundred thirty two blank postal money order forms numbered 18469 to 18600 inclusive were stolen from the Ripon Post Office near Stockton a few days ago. The public is warned to beware money orders with these numbers. The burglar also took $16 worth of stamps.
