Department of the Interior announces Ernest L. Kitley filed a contest to cancel William L. Rodman’s Homestead Entry No. 11659 for Southeast 1½ Section 27 Township 11 North Range 3 West 8S Berdian. Rodman must answer within twenty days after the fourth publication or risk cancellation. Publications dated June 28 July 6 July 12 July 19.
Engineer Henry Claussen and fireman K A White died in a freight locomotive explosion near Todd on Tuesday. A coroner's jury found the cause unknown with a government inspector not testifying. The deceased had warned friends the engine might be unsafe.
