Funeral for Bennett Johnson Held in Los Angeles
The funeral for Bennett Johnson, accidentally shot on July 2 near Cadiz, occurred last Tuesday at his aunt’s home on West 48th Street in Los Angeles. Attendees included Santa Fe special agents service, Daggett staff, Officer F J Flemming and son, Mrs W D Thornburg, and Officer J S Harris, with interment at Inglewood Cemetery. Johnson was the son of Daggett’s Officer Fred Johnson and a telegraph operator for the Santa Fe.
