Jim Honey Answers Last Call at Barstow
Jim Honey died at his Barstow home after six months illness. He worked fifteen years as a Santa Fe engineer at Barstow and was beloved for violin and social leadership. The body was shipped to Raton New Mexico for burial with Mrs Honey and two children accompanying. Mrs Honey will return to Barstow to remain.

Auto Tragedy Claims Bert Lunceford on Adalanta Road
Bert L Lunceford, a Victorville butcher and former Tom Reed mine superintendent at Oatman, died Wednesday night when his car ran off the Adalanta road, turned turtle, and pinned him. Mrs Lunceford Rev Stone and Mrs Fred Bush escaped injury. Attorney C M Mooslin and R E Kitching helped lift the body with Rev Stone. funeral is likely Saturday in Victorville.

Barstow visitors McClure Wilson and Edie heard that Hiawatha Drilling will start work west of the Kramer well while Black Mountain Oil, mostly movie people, holds a government permit and will drill west of the Kramer site.
