New Year's Weather in Barstow

Prospector Drowns In Colorado River Trip

Len Crooks Broke Neck In Weekend Buggy Accident
Len Crooks sustained a broken neck in a buggy collision with a machine driven by a Mitchell boy Saturday night. He was unconscious briefly, transported on the Sunday train to a hospital with his wife and her brother. Mrs Iveson, driving, was thrown but unharmed. The hospital reports Crooks is improving as expected.
