Former Barstow Man Friant Dies in Riverside
Funeral services were held for Frank H. Friant a former Barstow Barstow area power company agent who died after a stroke in a Riverside hotel. Friant served with Southern Sierras Power in Riverside since 1916 and previously helped Barstow during 1916 17. He was 47 and survived by his widow and 18 year old son Kenneth of Los Angeles. Burial was in Inglewood Cemetery Los Angeles.

Santa Fe Yard Widening Project at East End
