San Bernardino County approves district tax loss reimbursements

On motion of Supervisor Jones and seconded by Supervisor Glover the Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution naming WILERERS along with school and road districts in San Bernardino County that sustained revenue loss from withdrawal of property taxed for State purposes. The board set loss amounts, noting the first road district receives 90 628 75 of the total reimbursement.

Belgian relief ship Cranley sails from Seattle to San Francisco

The Belgian Relief Commission chartered steamer Cranley with 6800 ton cargo capacity. It left Hong Kong on December 21 and will depart San Francisco around February 1, making the third relief ship to leave the Pacific Coast and currently docked in Seattle.
