Mirage Valley Improvement Association Meets with Busy County Roads Work
The Mirage Valley Improvement Association held aDense meeting at the club house last Saturday with robust reports from the roads and road legislation committees. A McMillan exhibit shows Sudan grass 56 inches high planted June 4 and harvested July 24, signaling strong dry farming results. Local residents express interest in new school house furniture and expect completion by September 1. A road-building effort across the lake drew wide participation, culminating in a hearty chicken dinner hosted by Mrs Bertha Elsey. An August 7 Hard Times party at the Mirage Valley Club house is announced, with a photographer expected to cover the event. Mr. Wheeler's ranch offers outstanding vegetable varieties and quality produce for visitors.

He suggests building reservoirs, installing pumps, and using water power to lift water to higher levels, arguing it could boost crops, reduce waste, and benefit the Victor Valley community and chamber of commerce.
