A large farm sale lists Durham cows ages 3 5 7 7 and Holstein calf with due dates from December to April plus two store pigs. Implements include Massey Harris equipment, mowers, scythe rakes and plows with nearly new items, hay gear, wagons, bug- gies, a cream separator, chaffers, scales, and posts. Sale at 1 pm with cash discounts and 12 month credit on approved notes.
Mrs. Amos Miller and children visited Collingwood friends over the weekend. Miss Owens from Creemore visited Mrs. J. A. Wattie and attended a Barrie teachers' convention. Potato and apple picking marked the days as neighbors hosted and traveled to Toronto and Barrie. threshing machines hummed through the neighborhood.

Dalston reports visits from Mr and Mrs A Osborne in Toronto. Rev Currie led services while Rev G H Knighton attended anniversary events at Shanty Bay. Mr Booth from Orillia sang with a male quartet. Winnipeg visitors Mrs McKay and Miss Kent returned home. Women’s Institute met Oct 10 with 22 present and a talk by Mrs A Bonney on Our Responsibility as Women along with music. The Edenvale branch met at Miss Maimie McNabb's home with twenty members and four visitors. They finished last month’s unfinished business and planned a private fowl supper for November 26. Miss Ira Culham entertained with a guitar solo and a tea was served.
