Survived by husband three children Mrs W A Lewis of Barrie Capt Chas Crompton M D and Miss Jessie Crompton, three sisters Mrs F M Smith Mrs Talbot Torrance of Toronto and Mrs H S Scott of London Eng. two brothers C W Plaxton Toronto and Dr Otto G Plaxton Parry Sound. Dr Lewis attended the funeral in Brantford today.

Royal Victoria Hospital nurses honor class gold medalist
At the Royal Victoria Hospital Board meeting the 1917 graduating class final exams were reported with all five nurses scoring above 83 percent. Miss MacGregor won the gold medal for highest standing, followed by Miss Boyd, Miss McBride, Miss Wearing, and Miss Hunter. Graduation exercises are planned for Monday June 18 at 7:30 p.m. Rev W Harris Wallace joined the Board after Dr McLeod's death. There are 33 patients in the hospital, and the House Committee will report on electric heating in diet kitchens and sterilizers at the next meeting.
