Mystery surrounds Tolby death near Woodstock in cornfield
The body of Frank K Tolby 21 of Lima Ohio was found in a cornfield on Charles K smn p son's farm near Woodstock. A narrow cut in a coat and about 25 pay were found near the body, suggesting possible suicide rather than murder. Tolby had left Lima July 23 with goods for East Barnard and planned to work for W Lute until April but disappeared August 2 saying he would go to Canada. The state’s attorney Trainor and Dr B H Stone examined the remains. motive remains unclear. Tolby was a Lima High School graduate and son of engineer Tolby of the Cincinnati Hamilton and Dayton railroad. Burial directions were received from his father.
