The Lyon Gas and Electric Company porter Theory Canning was fatally electrocuted while on a pole in Helmont Avenue Salem mass Sept 16. A 2800 volt current passed through his body probably instantly. He leaves a wife and two children.
Boston engineer Rivest Tyons of Somerville was badly burned when a boiler in the Boston elevated railroad powerhouse exploded. The blast wrecked part of the boiler room and heavily damaged the building.
