Charles A Wells of Boston rode a street car with Mrs Ella Wells and A Louis Altmeyer. He rested a revolver over a woman passenger and fired five times toward his former wife and her lawyer who were headed to court. No further details provided on injuries or outcomes.
Mrs Ella Wells was killed and lawyer A Louis Altmeyer fatally wounded in West Roxbury when ex husband Charles A Wells opened fire on a streetcar. A pursuing party eventually captured Tessier after he fled with a companion. he had given a fictitious name but was identified as Tessier. Immigration officials were notified and expected to take charge of the case.
