Cleveland October 24 The Associated Press reports that W E Stone president of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers corroborated that he advised the engineers global chairmen not to answer a citation from the railroad Tabor board to appear in Chicago. He said the board lacks authority to settle the strike, a duty reserved to grand officers and the executive committee. The chairmen of various lines sought guidance as to attendance and expenses, while executive committees were told to be present.
