A meeting of the Wauh- Farmereen was held to discuss continuing operations and governance. Members gathered to consider plans, financials, and future activities. The event emphasized communal input and organizational oversight.
Last night the Barre city council discussed traffic rule improvements with no action taken due to the season's end. Reports approved include installing a light at Sheridan and Wellington Streets and moving the Circle Street light near the railroad diagonally. Funeral services for Lewis A Lebel killed when struck by an automobile near Jones Bros were held at St Augustine's church in Montpelier with relatives and friends in attendance. Out of town mourners included Mrs Frank Dower and Miss Abies Carrell of Hartford Conn Mrs John P Carroll of Ferren Me Mrs John P Carroll of Waterbury Mire Elizabeth Nower of Burlington and Fred Lebel of Boston, a brother of the deceased. Burial followed in the Catholic cemetery in Montpelier.
Licenses of multiple drivers including A Lebel of Marre J unl Mested of Montpelier Wilfred W Deso of St. Al mene Millonel Seaglan of St. Athens Leroy 8 1 of Bellows Kalbe and E Curtis of St. Albans have been revoked or indefinitely suspended for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor.
Harvid W. Ingalls reported a bicycle and motorcycle collision at a bridge site. He states the river and road conditions contributed to the incident and that he did not sustain serious injuries.
