No word has been received by anyone in Barre from the executive committee meeting in Boston yesterday except possibly Secretary Wishart of the Barre Manufacturers association. Paul Friberg Dead A Swedish Barre Resident

Paul Friberg a former granite cutter and yearlong farmer at Cutler Corner died Sunday of consumption at his home. Born in Sweden May 29 25 years ago he came to the United States nine years ago and worked in Tarre then at Cutler Corner. He leaves two small children and parents with one brother Otto in Barre Town and sisters Mrs John Mateon and Mrs Gue Nobe Menchers. The funeral service will be held at his home tomorrow afternoon at two oclock followed by a service at Hope crematory.

Painters Banquet Highlights Union night at Painters Hall

The Painters union of Rupee held its annual banquet in Painters Hall last evening with about 25 members attending. An oyster supper was served by many members, FH Carleton acted as toastmaster and called on members during the evening. A five piece orchestra provided music.
