Robert Phillips aged 17, of Northfield, son of Frank A. Phillips, died early this morning in Waterbury after an illness on his way to Fletcher hospital. A Phillips-Beetor Academy student, he returned home Saturday for a few days and grew ill Sunday, then was transported to Burlington and Fletcher hospital before passing away at 5:15 this morning from acute sugar diabetes. Survived by father, sister Edna, and uncle Robert Silver. Funeral Wednesday at 2 PM in Northfield.

Afterward the couple planned residence in Boston with Dr Maciver to serve as superintendent at Massachusetts General.
