Complete Boston Hululk county returns show John B. Moran reelected as district attorney with 50 245 votes to Walter A. Webster 20 725 and J A Denninen 17 992. City totals: Moran 46 926 Webster 20 187 Denninen 16 559. Moran holds a 0 435 plurality countywide with Webster trailing.

Circles Washington November 6 The administration received the election results with little apparent surprise and equanimity. The Republicans suffered notable losses in key districts and the political landscape shifted as ballots were tallied across states.
Former governor Benjamin B Odell Jr died at his Newburg home after an operation for pleurisy. The procedure performed yesterday by Dr Erdman led to serious complications, ending his life today. He had been in frail health since an attack of pleurisy and subsequent illness.
Dr Entman from New York operated yesterday on Mr Odell who had suffered plenrisy for three weeks. A tube was placed in his side to drain the pus without anesthesia. The patient bore the procedure well and rested more comfortably afterward.
Novgton McConnell and companions Peteray, John Hienan Wi arnt, John Himes and William John Runkle were lying on a road when a gun misfired at a rabbit. All were hit in the head and knocked from the scene. Runkle severely wounded, one eye destroyed, others injured.
London dispatch reports Raymond Mitchcock was not aboard the liner Majestic when it reached the port. Detectives met the ship at the dock and conducted a thorough preliminary inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the man’s absence.

Mrs W H Marr visited Clinton Cutler while W E Bartlett bought a new driving horse. F N Nutting returned home from Barre to work, and Mrs Maggie Daniels of Montpelier visited George Bollis. Several townspeople, including Mrs Clara Gladding and Mr Carl Gray, spent weekends with relatives. births, dinners, and Halloween events noted. An accident on School Street injured Ryland Parker but no serious harm occurred. a chicken pie supper is planned by the Ladies Aid.
Congressman Bourke Cockran was arrested on a charge of illegal voting after noon at a New York City address. Police could not verify the 310 East 17th Street registration given by Cockran. He was taken to the police station and then to a police court amid denials of any forfeiture of voting rights. Magistrate Cornell issued the warrant as officials questioned whether someone impersonated the congressman. Cockran said the 17th Street address was his previous residence and disputed the arrest authority.
Jersey City J Nov 6 reports the state election appears undecided with latest tallies leaning toward Fort Republican for governor. The advisory tone notes ongoing vote counting and uncertainty across counties as returns trickle in.
Joseph Canton a patient at Canton City Hospital for nearly a month walked out yesterday and was found dead later. The town investigated with Barre authorities and Graniteville officials as his disappearance stirred concern. He had suffered injuries from a fall and had been convalescing while enjoying life before his death.

The event opened with the group singing My Country Tis of Thee, then featured a W D Kidder and William Ipglis dinner, a talk by F R Spaulding of Cleveland on young men and improvement, and Rev William T Braister on ideal brotherhood and giving. Batchelder's four-piece orchestra performed selections.
The funeral for Mrs George C Richardson wife of Potion Officer Richardson was held at her home at Till and Washington streets at two o clock yesterday afternoon Reverend Francis A Foe officiated with a mixed quartet providing singing Chief of Police of my Faulkner and Patrolmen Frank Hawes George Carl and Harry Gamble acted as pallbearers The remains were prepared at Rimwood Comet the elements have not seen unieve the interment.

Rutland man dies in the Philippines after nine years in the army. He served in Company E of the 2nd Infantry and passed away October 24 in Manila. Survived by his father H. E. Congdon, four sisters and one brother.
