George Doucette 18 son of Mr and Mrs Wrank Doucette of 48 River Street Montpelier was seriously injured in a solo automobile crash while returning from Groton pond. He was taken to Barre City hospital after being found unconscious in the highway by drivers George Robin and Perley Beckley who followed him. An X ray was ordered to assess injuries. The accident occurred about 4 PM as the car veered off the road near Barre toward West Topsham. Doctors reported his condition improving today.
Mise Hall daughter of George L and Eliza Hall lived most of her life in the area. She taught in Newbury briefly, cared for her sick mother, and spent her last year in frail health. She was hospitalized at Brightlock, St Johnsbury, and then Theokline for further treatment. Survived by two sisters, Miss Marion Hall of South Kite and Miss Elizabeth Hall of Minneapolis.
