Paris May 1 Count Brockdorff Rantau head of the German peace delegation has asked for an extension of time to present Germanys reply on the treaty terms The note says Germany wishes more time to study questions in the treaty not yet examined The allied powers have not officially announced their decision on the extension request

They insist governments repudiate intervention that would infringe Russia’s sovereign rights.
Premier Orlando of Italy left Paris on Tuesday evening for Rome to confer with Italian government ministers on interior and foreign questions. He will return to Paris on Friday morning, according to management.
