After Sunday twisters, floods swept eastern Ohio to the Mississippi, with Mahoning River overflows at Youngstown halting mills for 14,000 workers. West Liberty saw an engine and car plunge from a washed out bank, while Delaware reported mayor and twenty others drowned. Fort Wayne rivers surged as Kokomo floods crippled the electric plant and militia was dispatched. Indianapolis suburbs evacuated as riots of water rising. Wellington and Makanda reported deaths.
