Washington March 24 The state department said early consideration will guide any changes in relations with Soviet Russia. No formal announcement of changes or rulings will be made for some time though modifications are under consideration. The move follows an appeal from the Soviet government to President Harding and to the American government for a resumption of trade relations.
Washington March 2 Obadiah Gardner of Maine who resigned from the international joint commission at the close of the last administration at President Wilsons request was offered reappointment today by President Harding He will probably accept and be formally trained in a few days
In Harrison Arkansas March by representatives of four international railroad Brotherhoods were arrested and bound over to the county court on order of the court. The jailed men include W G Anderson View president of Brotherhood of Railways Lo M Edwards of the Onder at Viailway Telegraphers W J Botto the dispatchois union and M Carey of the Owter of Hallway Conducture all from Chicago. They were detained for their protection after a mass meeting urged them to leave the state.
