London reports a heavy dawn bombardment by German guns over a broad British front. Official announcement states the attack covered from south of St Quentin to the Scarpe river, signaling a potential new offensive.

Oxford, March 21. An experiment will establish short courses of instruction at Oxford University for wounded officers unfit for military duty for four months or more. Preference will be given to those likely to be discharged, with arrangements for necessary medical care.

Manchester March 21 The funeral for Roger C Perkins 22 son of Mr and Mrs Perkins was held at his home. He died after falling 500 feet in a Key West Florida training accident.
