The body of Emma Johnson, 20, daughter of a Norwegian farmer, was found about four miles from Caribou. The corpse lay face down behind bushes with two cuts on the head. Foul play suspected. an inquest was ordered immediately to determine the cause.
Florence Elliott a six months new wife of Freeman Elliott attempted suicide by drowning in the Winnipesaukee river at a railroad bridge in Tilton New Hampshire. She was rescued by mill workers and a note pinned to her sweater alleged Freeman Elliott caused the act. The husband had left her recently and she had seen a local lawyer about support.
Burlington June 23 news reports the presumed suicide of Gertrude White remains unresolved. A lake near Rack Point is being repeatedly dynamited to raise the body, but no results yet. An unexploded bomb was discovered today in the porch of St Mary the Virgin Church in Reading England. It is believed to have been planted by militant suffragists. The tin can device contained explosives and detonated fuse burned out before the charge was reached.

Deputy Sheriff L P Martin returned from Stotte hee P Q with Aaron Britch, arrested on a charge of forgery. Britch is accused of forging two checks totaling 65 dollars on the Whe lm County Savings Bank and Trust company using the name of Charles Sheldon of Highgate.
New York June 25 The United Fruit liner Tenadores collided with a scow outside the harbor. The bow of the scow was bent and forward plates of the Tenadores were damaged. No one was seriously injured.
In Addison County Court three defendants faced sentences for felonies. Garet Sorro was convicted of theft of 52 from a fellow workman in Vergennes, with a two to three year hard labor term. A. W. Dickinson, claiming youth and parental support in Italy, received a two to three year sentence and custody until completion. George Pond alias Cochran was sentenced to seven to ten years in Windsor State Prison for arson, with a note on intoxication as a contributing factor. Joseph Duprey, linked to a New York life insurance scheme, received a light sentence, later suspended, and placed on probation with Windsor looming if violated. Judgment in Joseph Wlase vs Weybrite towse followed.

Attendants were Mitt Filmbeth Adams and William McDonald. After a reception in a grove, the couple left for Harre to honeymoon with groom's parents at 67 John Street Nashua. The bride, a Nashua clerk, and the groom, a Barre native, received many gifts. They will reside at 48 Cross Street Nashua.
Lyndon June 2 Lewin D Bancroft former Lyndon graded school principal and Blanche J Goodrich daughter of Mr and Mrs Will D Keith of Charlestown NH were married at high noon yesterday in the Methodist Episcopal church by Rev F B Blodgett Clarence Fitch of Cylain served as beet and Alice Bancroft sister of the groom as bride's maid Bemis and Wheeler were ushers Bancroft a son of Mr and Mrs Nathan T Bancroft of Delnja and Montpelier seminary graduate class of 1900.
The woman formerly at Wa verly Massachusetts and Exeter was committed to a asylum in Concord for mental observation after shooting and killing her husband Henry H Polsom, a Boston attorney. His funeral was held in Newmarket this afternoon.
A Boston bound train brought Spanish Consul Almeida and attorney William Irish to Chelsea to attend the Gomez in range county court hearing. Petar Faulknée faced a fine of five dollars for a prior offense, while John Hannon of Woodbury received a thirty day sentence for unpaid fines. Charles Mee, arrested yesterday, was not able to appear and remained in custody.
The War Department plans a four troop squadron totaling about 300 men to rehearse and travel to St Albans for the July celebrations. They will arrive in time to take part in the centennial jubilee events.
