Library of Anarchy Suits Columbia Library Sale Record
A Parisian anarchist literature collection, valued as the most complete of its kind, was bought for about £20 at Sothebys and shipped to New York, where Columbia University will publicly display the 252 newspapers and periodicals, posters, manuscripts, letters, and rare items including a draft assassination forecast and works by Louise Michel. The collection, untouched by most librarians, spans multiple languages and eras, with many items unique to bibliographies.

Bible Society Fights Turkish Censorship Over Macedonian Names
American Bible Society seeks permission to revise Bible wording in the Levant under Turkish censorship to replace Macedonia with a Turkish name and to alter phrases such as Christ came to save sinners. Delays in permits for editions spark concern, with disputes over Salonika and Monastir as travel routes and over the phrase there shall not be left here. The case may go to British and American ministers in Constantinople if the Levantine suppression continues.
