The twice tried and twice reversed case Oliver Jennexe versus Walter Simpson for alienation of affection was settled out of court in Caledonia county this week. Judge Hall approved the settlement after counsel for the defendant requested time to consider. Bail set at 2,000. defendant had not resided in the United States, and the verdict amount was the only matter to answer. The settlement shortened term of court by two weeks.
