Graduation exercises at the Williamstown bi ll were held Friday at the Congregational church with fern decor and a motto “ea est” in white and green. The program featured solos, recitations, and selections by the Girls’ Glee Club, with students such as Lulu Burnham, Marion, Christine, Sadie, Archie Cram, and Orville Walbridge performing in a diverse list of readings and musical pieces.
Six drink offenses packed the police court with five arrests Saturday night and one Sunday afternoon. Individuals including Carle Frank L Anderton Hamel Woolvey Demijolia Simon Aren Williamstown officers faced fines. All pled guilty to first offenses and paid $5 fines plus $9.90 costs. Anderson incurred $5.74 in costs.

Mrs William A Moore of Maple avenue died suddenly on Saturday at her home. She was 29, mother of four children, wife of William A Moore, daughter of Mr and Mrs Joseph Bandlt of Newport, with four brothers and a sister. The funeral was at St Monica's church Tuesday at 9 o clock, with interment in the local cemetery.
Mary E. J. LeClaire aged 11 years died at 6 am at her Fort Street home from heart trouble. Survived by three sisters and six brothers. Funeral at 10 am tomorrow from St Monica's church with interment in the Catholic cemetery.
William Lovie, aged 33, died yesterday at his home after a long illness from consumption. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 8 o clock in the afternoon, with members of the association of which he was a member in attendance.
William Weight was tried in city court Saturday afternoon before a jury for mutilating a door in Hare Om Short street. The jury found him not guilty on the charge amid a case focusing on the alleged vandalism and surrounding evidence.
