London officials report Justice Darling announced that five judges who heard Roger Casement's treason appeal will only hear a possible application on his behalf. The nature of the application was not disclosed. News agencies say public execution of Casement is improbable. some authorities claim executions for crimes other than murder must be public.
London July 27 Laurence Ginnell Nationalist MP briefly expelled from the House of Commons for disorderly conduct. He initially refused to leave as the chair suspended the sitting, then withdrew when attendants arrived. The sitting was resumed afterward.

They wed at 11 am by Rev Richard H Clapp in the Brooks House parlor after arriving on a night train and waiting in the hotel. The police chief advised waiting in the hotel parlor until daylight.

U S Note cabled from Twin Mountain New Hampshire reports the local post office blown open with nitro glycerin during the early hours. Postmaster J P Wright says cash stamps and registered mail were likely stolen totaling several hundred dollars. Suspects may have used an automobile with a 1 to 2 am call heard. gang possibly tied to a recent Franconia burglary. No crew identified yet. Protest to England Over Blacklisting American Firms. Brattleboro note details twelve cars derailed on a northbound freight train due to a Macklisting protest. No injuries reported.
In St Johnsbury on July 27 autopsy of Wells, 21, who died after being hurt in a wagon incident between Orleans and Lrasbourg, found a blood clot in the palmotary artery. Investigators considered foul play but deem injury from a kick by a vicious horse the likely cause. Drs Stonewell and Whitney led the autopsy. State's Attorney Grout will pursue inquiry. Wells leaves eight brothers and three sisters. body sent to Orleans for burial.
William Siegei vet son of George J Singriest, aged ten, died at Mary Pletcher hospital after a delivery car at Essex steam foundry crossing collided with an auto. The boy, member of Resex Junction Methodist Church, died from internal injuries and blood loss. Father had been serving at the Mexican front. family left with eight other children. Driver Fred Rushford suffered serious injuries including a broken collar bone and left leg. The crash wrecked the car, tore 800 feet of railroad roadbed, and scattered 15 baskets of clothes along the tracks.
Deputy Sheriff A J Croft investigated a Sunday incident on Church street where an intoxicated automobile party wandered streets. They were guided home in Sheldon Springs and faced court Monday evening. John Swanson fined 10 dollars and 6 45 costs for operating while intoxicated. G W Botterell R E Bramhall and John Silvestre fined 5 dollars and costs each totaling 11 45.
In Yonkers Mount Vernon and New Rochelle New York July 27 union strike actions halted street railways. Motormen and conductors may join the strike, with violence threats noted and some lines operating near schedule. One car attacked in the Bronx leaving windows shattered. three rioters arrested.
Chelsea July 21 For his part in the brutal killing of Tops ham farmer Joseph Felch on the night of April 29 1916 Ons Williams was found guilty of murder in the second degree by the county court. Williams employed as a farmhand by Felch faced trial as did Mrs Felch in a broader case. The sentencing phase was pending, with potential appeals indicated by defense counsel. The death of Felch occurred after he left his Waith River home to tend the sugar house. The trial drew intense local attention as state investigators and experts examined the evidence.
Washington July 27 Authority has been given the Central Vermont railway by the interstate commerce commission to continue the operation of steamers between New York and New London and to install similar service between New York and Providence.

Kenneth Pitts aged 15 months, son of Mr and Mrs Claude Pitts of North Clarendon, was seriously burned yesterday when he stepped on hot wood coals dumped in the yard. One foot badly burned, possible lifelong crippling. Mrs Pitts had moved a kitchen stove and emptied the coals outside. Kenneth wandered near and stepped onto the danger.
John Giscamurs a marble granite cutter long known in the Italian pat h of this city died at his home 12 Addison Place this morning after a five month illness. Survived by wife and two children Anna and Fioravanti a brother Battista Guicamuzzi of Milford Mass and a brother in Prince a sister Mrs Maria Melitant of Milford Mines and three sisters in Austria. Born in Austria years ago he came to America several years ago. Previously he worked for manufacturers in Brit Barre and Montpelier and was a member of the granite cutters union. Funeral will be held at the house Saturday afternoon at twelve oclock with interment in Hope Cemetery.
Funeral services for Anne Eliza Conanister were conducted at the home of Dr. Phelge on Elm Street in Barre after her death in Voteham on July 8. Rev. J. J. Hearin of the Universalist church officiated at 2:30 p.m. Bearers included Fayette T. Curler, CC Verney, George Beckley, and Joseph Taft. Interment followed in Elmwood Cemetery.
Edward Stott of Wellhaven by Dartmouth, proprietor of The Orange or prepperpe pee Diartamente tor ceate, died today as a result of shock. He was 35 years old.
