General Huerta and loyalists remain cautious inside a railroad car near Puerta Mexico while constitutionalist forces close in. Outposts line the approach as preparations continue for a possible evacuation of women and children, with ships expected to depart soon.
Chicago, July 20. The body believed to be Catherine Winters of Newcastle Indiana was exhumed today in Urbana Illinois potter's field. Detectives oversaw the exhumation to compare features including hair color with the missing nine year old daughter of a Newcastle dentist. The grave lay months in the vault before the test. Dr Peters said the hair differed from his daughter’s brown hair, leading him to doubt the match.
In Portsmouth on July 20 the British home fleet, 200 auxiliary ships and equivalent submarines, torpedo boats, destroyers and seaplanes, moved out for a review by King George. The ships passed the royal yacht for two hours as airships accompanied the fleet overhead.
London July 20 Premier Asquith announced in the House of Commons that King George summoned a conference of representatives from both major political sides in Britain and Ireland to discuss the Irish government problem. Invitations were accepted by two members from each regular party group including Ulster Unionists and Irish Nationalists.
A 25 year old woman from Danvers was severely burned when a lamp exploded while trimming a slow burning oil lamp at Marguerite cottage on Hampton Beach. She is in serious condition at Anne Inquirer Hospital Newburyport with life threatening injuries.

Fort Smith Ark July 20 charred fragments of two men were found in a mine cabin after an attack on Prairie Creek during a clash between strikers and non union miners and company men. The bones are linked to the disappearance of guards J W Sylesberry and John Baskins with sworn testimony of Sam C Thomas alleging execution at a hut on Sugar Loaf Mountain.

The body of Mrs Winnie Kaschinsky 24 of Albert Place Framingham was found floating in Basin Three yesterday afternoon by an Italian track walker from the New York New Haven Hartford railway. Identification was via a photograph from her husband Dominic Raschinsky. A Worcester brother Tony Daniels survives. The husband cited personal crisis mania from despondency as likely cause.
Jerbert E. B. Dodge, a member of Camp Davy, drowned at Westport Harbor while nine companions entered the water. Six reached shore against the undertow. two expert swimmers rescued three others, marking the camp's third fatality after Byron Warren and Elmer Carpenter drowned earlier while out boating.
Eight year old Leo Whittier of Tilton New Hampshire drowned yesterday at Lake Winnipesaukee while swimming with companions. He was seized by cramp and unable to reach shore before help arrived. Local officials and bystanders assisted in the rescue attempt.
G W Benjamin author artist and diplomat died suddenly at his Burlington home on Sunday morning. Born February 1 1897 in Argoe Greece he was son of Rev Nathan B Benjamin and grandson of Capt Charles Seymour of the American Revolution. He studied at Williams College and held posts in art and publishing, served in the Civil War era as a cavalry organizer, and was a diplomat who helped shape relations with Persia. He was active in art and literary circles in London Boston and New York and held leadership roles in several societies.
July 20 in Vermont a number of marble workers at the Genter Rutland mill of the Vermont Marble Co have been paid off recently. Superintendent B A Howard denied involvement with union activities, saying the layoffs are routine and not tied to union membership. He claimed he does not know who belongs to the union. Some workers suggested terminations were linked to union activity, but none confirmed it. A man noted production has slowed with afternoons early closures.
The 35 year old Ad Ney P Gosselin of 2 Hyde street died suddenly yesterday at noon while dining with family. Former druggist and Champlain school janitor, he was lifelong resident of Burlington. Survived by wife, three daughters, two grandchildren, four brothers and four sisters. Was member of St John the Baptist church and Modern Woodmen of America.
Mrs Marinda Swift, nearly 90, died Saturday at 7 pm at the home of Levi Swift in Middlesex. Born July 25 in Huntington to Jacob and Molly Sherman, she moved to Middlesex with husband Charlee Swift about 40 years ago and lived on the farm he bought. Her funeral was held at 1 o clock this afternoon with burial in the family lot on the farm.
Boston July 20 A special venue of 340 jurors chosen for Laurence Robinson who faces first degree murder and jewel robbery charges in the killing of Inspector Norton at the Boylston cafe. Precautions include no admission without ID and constant guard due to potential demonstrations by the defendant’s friends. White excerpts describe the confrontation, chase, and capture near Boylston street as Robinson fled with Ruddy indicted for separate trial.
Washington DC July 2. President Hustie of the New Haven railroad Moorefield Story and Yale Universitys President Hadley along with T DeWitt Cuyler and other directors conferred with Attorney General McReynolds and Assistant Attorney General Gregory aiming to reach an agreement to delay any antitrust suit. The directors reportedly stand by their option on the Boston and Maine stock and propose holding the matter in abeyance awaiting Massachusetts legislature action.

Report of a fatal carriage accident at a home gathering near P.M. Seure on Friday evening, with Rev Leneeel Havie conducting a service the next afternoon. Several family members present were injured as the carriage began tipping, causing the fatalities and prompting an investigation.
William W. Perley of New Gloucester, 40, was seen arming himself on a lawn near Mrs. D Clark’s house late Saturday night. In Waterbury a horse driven to the village home frightened by thunder ran away. The team smashed the rig at a residence, John Oliver and Luke Flynn’s families were awakened, lights went out, and a woman named Morse was injured while others escaped unharmed. A search traced the runaway to Warren’s Harness and the team was eventually recovered. mail and caps were disturbed, but no major property damage reported.
About 200 members and families of the Narre Enat Baré and Montpelier Improved Order of Redmen met at Caledonia Park for a day of picnics and contests. Baseball, football, track events, and a dance drew large crowds, with Doyle captaining the baseball win and Johnny Milne scoring the lone football goal. Prizes went to William Walker for weight and various ladies’ and children's events were listed along with marching and music by Slim's orchestra and organizers James Rothie, Alex McKinnon, Charles Scott, and Iaa Wright.
Burlington July 20 David J Crane longtime prominent Burlington businessman died at 11 oclock in front of his home while returning from East Windsor New Hampshire at 86. Crane was educated at Tubbs Culon academy and began career in Len Taather weaving industry. He formed a packing venture with Willard and played key roles in Vermont Shade Roller Company and Venetian Mind company. He served as vestryman and lay leader at May church and was a member of Boston Masons. He left a widow and several children.
William McKenzie and family and William Donahue and family escaped serious harm when their two autos carrying ten people plunged down a bank at a narrow curve between farms near Williamstown. The top saved occupants from water and trees. one child was shaken, others uninjured though the cars were badly damaged and later towed from the ditch.
