Waterbury May 14. Dr. G. S. Bidwell, a prominent local physician, was badly hurt this morning after being thrown from logs during a stream crossing. His jaw was broken. he was taken to a hospital for treatment. Dr. Growl attended and dressed the wound.
Stationary firemen in Holyoke Massachusetts walked out this morning following a vote taken Sunday night. The action occurred during a period described as a Sunday war and the striking workers demanded changes to conditions. Local officials warned of disruption as the walkout continued.
