Man commits suicide after quarrel with wife at Hillside Inn
Springfield July 18 W A Lynn about 18 svare old committed death by own action last evening in his room in the Woolton apartment house Hillside Inn by inhaling illuminating gas. Family troubles caused the act. Lynn employed in H B Carter plumbing company. He had trouble with his wife who ordered him to leave the tenement. He rented another room in the same building. Last night neighbors smelled gas and alerted Policeman E R Purdy. The officer found Lynn on the bed with gas tube in his mouth and the gas valve wide open. Health Officer B A Chapman and two physicians deemed resuscitation useless. Lynn left a note stating she would have nothing more to do with him. Besides his wife he leaves several step children. The family moved here from West Burke.
