Antoine Deutech a Passaic machinist was arrested after allegedly predicting in a restaurant that the Submarine Meat Construction plant in Newark would be blown up or burned. A fire Friday caused about 1 000 000 in damage to docks and warehouses of the plant.
Italian Army Headquarters reports a major offensive in the western Bren ta mountain area. Troops advanced along the Brenta to Asingo, seizing 1,500 prisoners including 80 officers. War materiel was captured and the enemy suffered considerable disruption.
Last night air raids dropped bombs in Kent and southwestern London.
