New York January 17 Cardinal Farley archbishop of New York returned home today after a two month abroad period during which he was invested with the red hat. A large public welcome formed a line from the battery to St Patrick's Cathedral while thousands gathered within the cathedral. The steamer Harlin carrying Cardinal Farley arrived at Hoboken early this morning and he walked roughly sixty miles on deck during the voyage.
