A balloon named Tillebrant, missing since last November, was found in a bag. The two aeronauts inside are presumed dead from smothering while trying to escape the tangled mass. Authorities say the discovery partially clears months of mystery in Berlin.
Four well-fed boys aged 6 to 12 were found in a Boston and Maine yard car loaded with biscuits. The youngsters said they had been playing in Charlestown, then hidden in the car and reached Portland after a 24 hour wait. Names given were Edward Carr, 6. Corlinks Mahoney, 1. David Sullivan, 8. Faward McLaughlin, 12.
Washington sources indicate an eighty one hundred million loan to Honduras from J. P. Morgan, tied to restoring order. The State Department has stepped up involvement in Honduran affairs as the cruiser Hornet is recalled and ordered to monitor the revolutionary conflict.
Jar Whitmore a 68 year old resident of a wealthy St Louis family leaped from an eighth story window at the Merquette hotel, dying instantly. Despondency over ill health and the death of his wife, Gro Knapp’s daughter and former St Louis Republic publisher, are given as causes. Whitmore was longtime secretary of the Merchants' Exchange.
In Washington on January 16 Congressman Frank Manley recommended Kit Haskins for Brattleboro postmaster to succeed H. I. Laytor. The Brattleboro gentlemen of former postmaster Herbert B. Taylor named Assistant Postmaster C. W. Wilcox as acting postmaster. appointment by the President follows.
Mary St. Ann of Burlington was Saturday brought before Principal Court and sentenced to three months in jail for the larceny of nine pairs of gloves from Mrs. Felix Labelle last week. The girl was later arraigned on a charge of open and gross bowdiness, and the sentence was suspended. She was arrested Thursday night at the resort in Mongeon block on West Allon.
Allentown Pennsylvania resident Erdman died at his home after a lingering illness. He served two terms in Congress and authored the Erdman act promoting arbitration in labor disputes. The measure faced several rejections in recent sessions as Congress tackled labor tensions.

Robert Johnson, 8, formerly of Burlington, was arrested in Hartford, Conn., after a wedding at St Marys Cathedral. He faces charges of embezzling from the Swin Droge company and asked for bail of 1000 dollars to secure appearance in Hartford court. Johnson lived in the city years ago and was known for generosity and debts. The arrest occurred at the Farmington Avenue hotel as the couple departed.

In Bristol Dan, 18 year old Frank Bouske was out gathering gum when a pistol fired by himself struck his abdomen. He was badly wounded with little chance of recovery as doctors treated the serious wound yesterday.
After years of litigation Fudge Martin of the probate court awarded the estate partly to Helen Harlow the granddaughter and the remainder to EB M Tvivh’s heirs. The will dated August 23 1908 named Helen Harlow as sole heir after the death of the mother. Neighbors and relatives including Jennie He McKensie Minnie Devette Aline Drury Laura Trie and Nelson Irish were involved. The estate was valued around 84000 with lawfully listed heirs contesting.
Willa J. Henry of Williamatown suffered a severe fracture to the right thigh when he fell from a traverse during a coasting outing with several youths yesterday near the village. He was taken home and treated by Dr. W. J. Hurley and Dr. W. D. Reid. the fracture was reduced and no other injuries were found. He will be confined to bed for several weeks.
