He had swallowed enough poison to risk serious harm but responded to treatment and was resting comfortably by nightfall.

Mrs James Poor learns her brother David Taylor has died in Cambridge after a long Barre life. Taylor, aged about years, worked in granite shops and owned a Cambridge restaurant, later at Garford automobile factory. Twice married, he leaves children from his first marriage and a second wife with two children. Burial expected in Cambridge.
The funeral was held in Barre with Rev. J. B. Reardon officiating. Townsend, aged, was laid to rest at Waterheny Saturday. Survivors and local mourners gathered at the Tremont Chapel.
