Boston January 12 A meeting at the New American house set a 126 game schedule for the next New England league season starting April 18 and ending September 7. Fall River Haverhill Worcester Lowell and Lynn chosen as schedule commuters with detailed new rules and honorary members approved.
Los Angeles January 12 Bart N Franklin detective arrested on bribery in the McNamara trial has agreed to plead guilty if he will reveal all he knows. Deputy District Bevan Ford says the state will accept a six thousand dollar fine in exchange for the information to county grand jury.
In Jamestown Te, Rev. George H. resigned after four years amid shock and sympathy from church members. The report mentions plans to replace him and notes his connection to Miss Rose Falmamis of Cambridge Massachusetts and a postponed marriage involving Violet Edmands.
Lehigh Valley Railroad and Lehigh Valley Coal at separate meetings agreed to split the plan to split mining and selling operations. About 6 million will be distributed among preferred and common stockholders of the railroad. A new Lehigh Valley Coal Sales Company will be formed under New Jersey law with authorized capital of 10 million. The move follows a U.S. court decision declaring it unlawful for a railroad to transport mined or manufactured goods outside its control. The railroad controls the coal company.
Boston December 12 An appeal by William J Kelliner from a district court conviction for aiding and abetting bookkeeper George W Coleman to abstract over 300 from the National City Bank of Cambridge was dismissed by the US Court of Appeals. Kelliner held in East Cambridge jail awaiting appeal, the case likely to be carried to the Supreme Court. he will be transferred to Charlestown.
The Addison County court placed a man on probation after a December conviction for forged entries. Elmer Goodrich and spouse, once of Lalor Mudd, X.Y., married in 1805 before moving to California seeking prospects. Charles F. Kingsley of Salisbury represented the defendant as no defense was offered. Fred Flanders, convicted for forging into sleating violating the law, received a suspended sentence with costs and a year under probation, including liquor abstinence and supervision.
The divorce suit of John Bancroft jr against Madeline Dupont Bancroft was heard behind closed doors in the state superior court. Chief Justice Pennywill urged privacy due to sensational testimony and questions of a child’s legitimacy, noting no public policy would be served by disclosure. The Bancroft family is among the state’s most prominent.

A fierce blaze in Halifax Nova Scotia destroyed the Halifax Herald building and several stores and offices, with damage around 250 000 dollars. The United States consul’s offices were among the structures burned as high winds spread the flames, risking the loss of much of the business district until fire crews gained control after several hours.

Morse adds that if Richeson returns to court he would again plead guilty to murder in the first degree.
Charles Lefty Marr a former National League player was found dead in a New Britain Connecticut hotel room. Marr was best known for his time with the Cincinnati Reds in 1890s and 1900s details indicate a likely homicide or accidental death amid limited information from the station.
Waterbury remembers Mrs William Hayes of Main Street who died yesterday at 3 pm. Born Julia Hoffornan in Limerick Tre land in September 1822 she lived much of her life on Crosautt Hill farm in Duxbury. She was survived by ten children six of whom live in town and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements pending.
Franklin January 12 W J Towle aged 11 years was found dead in the snow in the woods near the house about seven o clock. Asa Goodhue planned a cutting job earlier yesterday afternoon. Towle waited at Franklin with two sons by Mr Towle and his wife who died years ago was sister of Carmi L Marsh of Enovburg Falls.

Resolutions call for urging lawmakers to maintain the grant law, to avoid deceitful pricing, and to support dairy interests in Washington. Three students Fisher of Marre Roc Kimball of Hroeleton and Perley Sleeper of Exeter were badly burned when a large gasoline fan exploded during a chemistry experiment. A banquet for visiting and local Masons followed, with over 200 attendees. Master Mason degree was conferred in Montpelier by Aurum lodge No 22. Delegates from all lodges gathered as Rev Henry Lo Mallow, Rev T Rows, James G. Pirie, and others appeared on program.

Richard Fitzgerald spoke, and W W White acted as speaker. the court appeared in good condition. After the meeting refreshments were served and games played. Patrick Brown, captain of the winning team, took the honor prize.

Carlisle of Birmingham accused of killing two women and a man on October 19 near government reservation. He cites family illness and a desire to free Nis ton.
Ruthind Dan of Burlington and Putte & Cin filed a bankruptcy petition with Clerk F of the United States Court on December 6. The petition lists liabilities and assets with office Turtington and court records detail.
A northbound freight train collided with a rear of another near Bord croming three miles north of Randolph Vermont. One brakeman, Wight, was killed. conductor Hibbons injured. several cars destroyed and two burned. The second train halted at Randolph for wrecking crews. The dead man and injured were identified. the scene described with debris, a stove catching fire, and weather adding to difficulty.
The wreck near Randolph claimed Knoch Wight a Central Vermont brakeman aged 32 native of Georgia. He leaves a wife a young son and a young daughter. He recently bought a home on South Main Street in Albans. He had priorly worked for Central Vermont before returning to the railroad last December.
Giacomo Iaccherio, born January 8, 1871 in Lombona Italy, died at home on Smith Street after four days of spinal meningitis. Survived by wife and two sons aged ten and fifteen. He came to America in 1902 and lived in Barre most of the time. Burial in Catholic cemetery on Heekley Street. services at St. Monica's Church at 2 PM Sunday.
In a Montpelier probate hearing before Judge Martin Hommes 1 Camp Batre was ordered detained to the nearest facility at the expected state. Wtinesses said Camp had shown signs of violence and confusion claiming to be in Tephei. The record notes Camp’s home life and a lack of additional testimony at the session. Barre sheriffs and local officials are identified among those present.
