A ninth bombing within a week rocked a tenement on East 21st Street in New York. The blast blew walls from their frames and woke about fifty tenants, nine people were injured lightly. The bomber remained at large as police and residents recovered after the explosion.
Wesley Lane and his wife Ethel and children Kitty and a newborn were burned from their small three room house near the Boston and Maine railroad in Woodstock New Hampshire. Harold Lane aged nine perished in the flames as Norman Mackinnon a passerby found fumes and broke in. The remaining family was rescued but Harold could not be saved. Undertaker Frank A Vox prepared the body for burial and the grieving community mourns the tragedy.
A fire swept through the Church block on Maintreet yesterday causing about 825,000 in damage to the principal merchants. Firemen, aided by townspeople, battled the blaze in cold weather, rescuing occupants from upper floors before the tower burned. The block is owned by Chertos A. Coombs of Bath and Jordan Snow estate.
Fort Fairfield Mo Feb 22 Eight potato houses at Easton burned last night causing an estimated loss of 100 60 The fire originated in the T Merle Hoyt hovee from some unknown cause and spread rapidly destroying seventy five thousand barrels of potatoes The houses were near the village so residential and business areas were not endangered

He is believed to have stepped from the main track to avoid a signaling train and was struck by freight cars pushed by a shifter. Dragged about ten feet, wheels passed over him. The incident occurred about 8 10 PM. He was single and lived on Cottage Street. The body was taken to a morgue and will be sent home to Maine.

The estate administrator sought eight hundred thousand from the Boston and Maine Railroad Company alleging negligence. The plaintiff’s name list includes Frank J and six children Charles M M Frank J Warren Jr Marie Jorie D Giles Lo and William J.

The funeral for Alexander Dobie who died at 82 Tremont Street was held yesterday at two o'clock from the residence. Rev J W Barnett officiated. Delegations from local orders attended and floral tributes came from affiliated lodges. Burial followed at Hope Cemetery.
