Adrian Mo Feb 18 An explosion in a school boiler basement tore up the primary department floor. A teacher and many pupils were injured, some severely, as rescuers pulled children from hot debris. A doctor treated injured staff as the Glider boys assisted in rescue, property damage listed at 82000.
The Berlin trial of Tals Gadeah for murder concluded after a week in superior court. Defense rested, Thomas F. Johnson summarized, and Attorney General Eastman presented the state’s case. The jury deliberated briefly and returned with a verdict of not guilty.

Francisco Santisban died at nine last night from burns suffered in a stove fire at his home the previous Thursday afternoon. Services were held at St Monica's and burial will be in the ethnlic cemetery.
Cireso Filipo, 42, of 4 Short Street farm, died this morning after a long struggle with tuberculosis. Born in Italy, he came to this country in 1802 and spent many years in the area. He was a widower with several children.
Anna Marguerite Shea seven months old died at home yesterday afternoon after illness with heart trouble. Funeral services will be held at St. Monica's Church at two o'clock tomorrow. Interment will be in the Catholic cemetery.
The Randolph Board of Trade held its first annual banquet with remarks from Blate's Attorney and Mayor W J Biglow. The program stressed industrial and agricultural development, Vermont progress, and local natural resources, noting obstacles to progress and Vermont’s favorable federal funding. An orchestra provided music and solo performances accompanied the event.
