President Madero is said to have escaped with his family to the eastern coast of the country as unrest spreads across the capital after a revolt. Fears rise for stability as military units report control in key districts and citizens seek safety along the coast.
Mexico City faced a day of unrest after a revolt led by General Felix Diaz. Two hundred were killed and 1,000 wounded as federal troops and mutineers fought near the national palace. President Madero reportedly fled toward the eastern coast, and General Reyes was killed in the palace clash.
In Washington Taft and his cabinet discussed Mexico amid a three week remainder of the administration. No intervention planned but army mobilization plans and a prepared navy were cited for contingencies as concern grows over Americans in Mexico City.
St Albans Feb 10 A circulation by S S Russell general auditor and superintendent of transportation of Central Vermont railroad, approved by GC Jones vice-president, reports John V Keefe is appointed superintendent of the northern division with office at St Albans. Also named was JR Fitzgerald as train master of the third and fourth divisions, based at St Albans. Fitzgerald currently acts as conductor on the St Albans to White River Junction run.
State's Attorney Gaylord Ladd of Richford investigates alleged neglect and cruelty to a 2 year old child of Mr. and Mrs. Whit residing near the village. The child was hospitalized in St Albans with multiple fractures and tronchitis, reportedly from bone disease and rickets worsened by poverty and insufficient milk.
Delington and Vek, prominent local business figures, were fatally injured Saturday when a fall led to fatal brain concussion. Investigators reported the circumstances were unclear but noted the man died shortly after being taken to the station by police and ambulance assistance.

Survived by his mother Mrs Mary Mackie, wife Mary E Gallagher of Barre, a son, a daughter Rowena, and brother Robert Mackie. Funeral from 104 Sumner St Wednesday at 2 pm conducted by Rev Thinean Balmond.
Funeral services for Nicola Hoss were held Sunday at his daughter Mra Antonio Mistrangelo’s home. The Barre Citizens’ band played two selections during the service and the Italian Old Men’s Club attended and escorted the remains to the cemetery for interment.

Elizabeth Mitchell daughter of Mr and Mrs I Mitchell of Cottage Street married Edward Matott in a home ceremony Saturday evening conducted by Duncan Salmond. Sister Christies Mitchell and best man Lawrence Marshall attended. A wedding supper followed. the couple plan to reside at Cottage Street for a time.
