In Mexico City troops guarded police, arena, and artillery depots after reports of a planned new revolt against the Huerta government. Rumors of outbreaks near Guadalupe spread, but official word denied a capital-wide clash as ministers met to discuss possible countermeasures.

A report from Concord states Jamund Dalton, 27, received a four year term after pleading to charges involving abandonment of a week-old child found on the plaza of Mrs. Richart Bak. Dalton allegedly left the infant in cold conditions while living with his wife, who is said to be in the army.

Mrs Carleton wife of S. Carleton of Nogwviel University engineering dept died after a year long illness from cancer of the flu intestines at 0 20 last evening. The cortege will be held from her home on Washington street Tuesday afternoon. She was aged about 30 and survived by her husband two children Cornelia 9 and Robert 4 a child died earlier her mother Mrs Cornelia Lord of Northfield and brothers Willard of Yarmouth Maine Harold of Schenectady Ralph of Johannesburg South Africa. She was a Congregational member.
In Went Parish a teachers strike occurred as sixty pupils refused to use the side entrance after Mrs Florunce ordered its use to keep the front clean. Fifty pupils remained out with their nun backing the action while the board of education voted to support the teacher.

Vergennes veteran Theophilis Middlebrook died last evening at his Green Street home at age 74 after a week of pneumonia. He served in Company A, 14th Vermont, enlisting in Vergonne. The funeral will be Sunday afternoon at 1 o clock at the Methodist church.
Sloane, a Central Vermont brakeman, was cleared after presenting a February alibi claiming he left St Albans Thursday at 4 PM on an extra southbound freight. Chin Kim died, a watch found on the body. earlier reports suggested the watch was stolen. Sloane voiced indignation at his arrest in court.
