Miss Lucy Wells a 28 year Barre post office clerk died after a fall at her Wellington street residence last Monday evening. She had been a faithful employee in Barre since 1880s and was a member of Bath chapter Order of the Eastern Star and Congregational church. Surviving are brothers Burt Wells Stephen Wells and Rev. Charles Wells and half brother Frank Wells.
