Death of Andrew Howe Prominent Y M C A Worker
Andrew J Howe a longtime Vermont Y M C A figure died at Heaton hospital after a line injury from a broken hip. Born 1835 in Middlesex he moved to Montpelier age one, worked with G B Scott and later D S Wheatley. He helped found Vermont Y M C A state work and served as Bethany Sunday school superintendent. He leaves an invalid wife and will be buried privately Monday.
