Woman Dies in House Fire Near Winding

Former Barre Man Dead Declares Frasier Death

John Mc Fraser, 36, formerly of Barre and Havre, died yesterday afternoon at his parents’ home 50 Cherry Street after an illness of under two weeks. He had returned from New York days earlier and suffered gastritis leading to complications. Survived by four brothers and two sisters, he led a life in business with Fraser Baker Co and was active in Elks, Masonry, and local clubs.

Word reached Mrs. James McKeroon of 14 Street yesterday of the death of Dougie, who succumbed at the Sanaremac Lake sanatorium in New York.
