Well known musician De Tomes Gilman aged 67 of Bethel died yesterday afternoon from heart disease after a illness since October. He led the Gilman write instrument shop and was a leader in the Vermont music scene. He married Catherine Souther in 1895, who survives with their child. He is survived by brothers G. D. Gilman of Bethel and Rollin Gilman of Bethel and a sister Mrs. Virginia Basen of Bethel.
