Funeral for Mrs Raymond Gokey Held at St Monica’s
The funeral for Mrs. Raymond Gokey, who died from injuries suffered in a runaway accident near the Nye Fort on Plainfield Road, was held at St. Monica’s Church with Rev. P. M. McKenna officiating. Members of the St. Jean De Baptiste society attended and the interment followed in Beck Hill Catholic Cemetery. A bear party accompanied the procession including George Gokey, Felix Beaudrice, Peter LaFortin, Joseph DeCotens, Joseph Bontard, and J. Lemni.

Heavy Loss At Woodsville Fire Destroys Hotel And Church
Fire at Woodsville New Hampshire early today destroyed the Central House hotel and damaged the Episcopal church and a nearby dwelling. Loss estimated around 25000 dollars. no injuries reported. The hotel was owned by Chester Abbott and insured for 10000 dollars. Also included is a lengthy note on Sunday post office operations from Postmaster Edward W. Bistoe.
