Falling Water Tank Crushes Girls in Pittsburg Tragedy

Three girls died and many injured when a water tank on the Union American Cigar Co building at 26th and Staman streets fell through the roof and collapsed six stories. About 12 other workers sustained injuries as the tank, filled with water, cascaded down to the ground floor where 180 employees worked. The injured gravitated toward exits as debris blocked passages and a chaotic scene unfolded.

Train wreck near Boston ends in tragedy and injuries

Miners Die and Fire Damp Disaster in Lorraine Pit

Burlington to get new elevated Union Station in plan

Burlington officials at a public hearing announced a Burlington Union Station project with elevated tracks to be built on Main Street, costing between 840000 and 3407000.
