Raritan N D Aug 6 Lieutenant Jefford commander of the tan arsenal said he would not believe more than seven were killed in yesterday’s explosion of a wine filled with low grade explosives. Several bodies had been recovered and the casualty count fluctuated as reports differed. Six to two were injured with none dead according to later estimates. Three men remain in the hospital. All victims were workers. Jefford said many were outside for lunch when the blast occurred and the cause was still undetermined, thought to be accidental.
