Joseph K Hateh a 60 year old farmer was killed by a stag on the Bridgewater trend near Woodedook yesterday afternoon after cows and the animal returned home. His son Harry found the body in the highway mangled and gory. Hateh survived by his wife a son and a daughter.

Mrs. Alexander Blanchard of Burlington suffered severe burns when a gasolene stove lighting mishap caused a fire on August 1. The blaze spread to her side and arm while neighbors aided in extinguishing the flames. her clothing and some hair received minor burns.

The ball will be October 4 with Wilder's orchestra to provide music.

The firm Bu & Alexander buys 145 acres of sheet granite land in Newark and East Burke near the Milford pink granite. The quarry lies close to A A Flint’s operation within six miles of the Boston Maine tracks and near Lyndonville. Harris D. Packer sold the property to Bugbes and Alexander who plan a B M spur line and note proximity to Grand Trunk at Island Pond.

L Gallen was found guilty of breach of the peace yesterday after the State's Attorney presented the case. Gallan claimed the evidence showed his innocence and suggested political motives. Judge Pay fined him $10 with costs. the respondent paid.
Goldie Sun Mosale appeared in Montpelier city court for furnishing liquor tied to Henry Johnson’s drunkenness. Johnson was convicted on a second offense and the case remains open for a mother charge. Goldie bound over to September term in Washington County Court with 400 bail posted by James McNulty. Several others from Sunday raid faced charges. Bilotti Dowinico and Paseht rtolli pled guilty to intoxication and paid fines. Els fine and costs totaled 804.20. Marcus Forbes was reported drunk again last night and paid 15 dollars.
Miss Jounie Atwephy and Wiltiery P Dipson wed at Monion s church this morning at 7.3 attended by Rev McKernt. The bride remained the Britest maid while Nulla Sullivan served as bridesmaid. The couple are popular in the city.
