Chester April 25 Mrs Ellen Bailey Burke, about 60, resident with Mr and Mrs Walkie Stevens, suffered severe burns after clothing ablaze she jumped into a cistern of water to escape flames. The incident occurred yesterday afternoon and the flames were extinguished quickly. Burke is described as in critical condition though her physician says she did not ignite the fire and attributes injuries to the fall and burns.
Portland police arrest William J. Draper and Walter Johnson of Medford on a charge of threatening the wife of Orville C. Robinson in MelFord. The girl says Draper, spurned by her, wrote he would go to Portland to murder her and the family if she did not marry him. The men traveled under assumed names by boat.

Funeral arrangements have been completed.
Tiveartn Zamurink died after a lengthy illness from pulmonary tuberculosis at his home on 94 Tiree street. The 43 year old granite cutter, born in Veron Teal, was survived by his widow. The funeral will be at his home tomorrow at two in the afternoon with burial at Lingem cemetery.
