William McAuley, former Barre resident, died this morning in Winchendon Mass. He resided in Winchendon three years, ran a motion picture theatre, and was about 37. He is survived by his wife and a half brother Arthur Stephete of Plowxant Street. McAuley previously partnered in the McAuley and Burkhart barber shop and pool parlors and belonged to the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

The last state case heard was State versus John Abpinal charged with selling liquor illegally. the defendant pleaded guilty.
